Friendly people & very helpful, Clean & very well groomed when we got there. Fairly new campground – not many trees. They are only about 7-8’ tall and growing. Pull through’s – easy to get in and out of these sites. Back in parking / camping – some of the sites are longer than others. Tent camping , if you know someone who wants to tent camp. 30 & 50 amp electric at the pull through’s and Back-in parking, Rental – Golf carts Volleyball, Horseshoes & Badmitten – have not played any of them but have seen others playing Fishing – in pond or Shenandoah River (many frogs J ) Fire pits or areas for a fire if interested in that. Pets Welcome ( we have one dog) We stayed 5 nights. It was very nice and quiet at night while we were there. We sat outside and had a fire every night, very relaxing. Only issue we had was the mountain / hill you drive up and then down. It is about 8 miles off of Rt. 81. We came in off of Rt. 81 (Newmarket exit). The corners through town were close for us (42’ toy hauler). We had to take them wide, but it was worth it in my opinion. We didn’t see any low wires or had any trouble getting there. We have been there before but with a smaller travel trailer. Many areas around to check out like the caverns or there is some wineries around the area. Also rental places all over there for canoes, kayaks & tubes (to float down the river). - Review provided by RV Park Recommendations & Reviews Facebook Group
