We were unable to go camping due to a change in my work schedule and my wife being sick. My wife called and left several messages and emailed the campground. Nobody got back to us to see if we could possibly reschedule since there are no refunds.

The campground is beautiful, however someone came onto our site and stole my husbands wallet right off our table! Every card and piece of ID other than his passport gone! Very upsetting to say the least.

Campground Response

We do not have a Theft issue at our campground. It is very safe and family orientated community for everyone looks out for each other. I would say this review is not very fair, considering we do not know if this wallet was lost or stolen.

G7spot not happy with site. Very hilly was hard to walk around. Also the Turkeys and bull frogs were extremely noises every night by this site. We are 70 years old. Also there were 5 other spots open by me better No trees by this area he put us by and it was 84 ‘sunny all day The store was closed for 2 days during a holiday??? We asked for a different spot and he said nothing was available but I traveled around park and found bettter spots open. Disappointed. We stayed last year and was satisfied that is why we returned 🥲The park was very quiet. Gloria

Campground personnel where very helpful but that’s where it ended. The other campers kept cutting through our site between our fire ring and camper. Our site was a shortcut to another section of the campground. The people next to us parked their vehicle in front of our camper and left, making it very difficult for me to hook up to our camper to leave. Voltage ranged anywhere from 110-102 volts. And our power protector kept shutting off due to dangerously low voltage so no air conditioning. And no more goats!

We had a wonderful time at the campground. The improvements that have been and are being made are great. We especially enjoyed the evenings watching all of the birds and wildlife that came into camp.

I like that they offered a dump station , the thing is that is is tipped the wrong way to drain out the tank and it is set back a little to far from the driveway. I like that they had a dog park for the dogs to run around in . They have a pool , bounce house for the kids , hay ride , and a couple frisbee golf nets .

The staff are very nice. The area is beautiful. I suggest to upgrade the dump station near the main office.

While all campers and staff were pleasant, there's much to be desired with the maintenance of the property. There is dog and geese poop that take over your walks, anywhere you go. Some of the travel trailers are dilapidated and run down. For the amount you pay per night, it's disappointing to see such a run down place. We happened to camp next to the maintenance worker. Their dog had pooped on our site property line several times, as it seems to be their "spot". They never picked it up and the scent was strong. When I found out he was maintenance for the campground, it all made sense. No accountability or ownership of their own mess, which translates into poor maintenance of campground. Its unfortunate as there is potential at this place with some rules enforced, and some upkeep.

It was not what we expected for the price we paid per night. There are campgrounds with full hook-ups, which incidentally include sewer for less than what we paid per night. Then to be told we would have to pay $40 to be pumped out was not a welcomed thought. We will not recommend this campground nor will we stay here again. For now, there should be a reduction in the camping fee and a refund to those who have paid near $80 a night. I would recommend people travel the distance to Trout Run for a much better experience.

Pros: great fishing, nice pool, petting zoo, grassy sites Cons: they don't sell bait, pool was freezing, petty zoo only has chickens and one goat and you cant even get close to them. The owners of this place where really friendly. But that's all. Loop G is a disaster. There's absolutely no organization at all when it comes to assigning sites. We where put on a site which is apparently a short cut for golf carts. We had golf carts driving straight through our site the entire weekend. There's nothing worse that trying to have a meal when someone is driving there golf cart that's burning gas 3 feet from where your eating. The dump station didn't work and from what I hear it hasn't in awhile. One last thing the circuit breaker for our site didn't work. I spoke to the front desk and she wrote it down. But no one ever came to even look at it. Fortunately I was able to borrow a few power cords and hook up to another site.

We will not camp here again. More care needs to be put into the park. Its a muddy mess when it rains. We did not feel welcomed. It portrays the image that its a seasonal site campground only. The roads were a muddy mess. Add stone to the roads this would cut down on the mud and when dry out it will cut down on the dust. The spots for weekend campers is less than desired. Seasonals let their dogs run loose all the time. There is dog poop all over the common pathway area behind the seasonal sites. Our site was in the pathway to the bathroom so everyone kept cutting through our site. We had no space to put our picnic table. We had to put it behind our camper. Luckily we were camping with friendsw. The pathway to the bathhouse is full of dog poop that is left behind by the seasonal campers that let their two shepards run free all day long. They run out from their camp site into the common area barking aggressively at people. The owners just tell the people walking by that they won't hurt them. The dogs barking with their teeth showing and hair standing up on their backs. The dogs bark at the people and dogs in the dog park as well as those walking back from the bathrooms. The white shepard almost attacked my dog who was on a lease at our site. He came right into our site when we arrived aggressively towards my dog. The white shepard acted like it was going to bite my friend walking back from the dog park with their dog. There needs to be more updated showers. You have to hold a string to get the water to come out and keep holding through out the shower to use the water. The dump station in the front was full on a holiday weekend. The back dump station is hard to manouver with a rig bigger than 34 ft. Needless to say we were not impressed and out of our group of 4 families we will not return.

This campground needs a lot of work. Check in process is frustrating because you don’t choose a site ahead of time. But the biggest problem is the roads are dirt. Dusty when it’s dry and muddy when wet. They are also not big enough to comfortably haul your trailer through. We were told we had to go the long way around the campground to get to the dump station upon checkout. We could barely move through the roads because they were mud and not nearly wide enough. At least stone the roads! Will not be returning.
