Letchworth Valley Campground and Resort

Rules

Family and Friends Tent/RV Camping

Persons per site are allowed are 4 people in the same family whether it be adults or children. If you are booking a site and wish to have friends join you the limitation is 4 people total and they must be staying in your camper or tent. If friends wish to stay on your site in a tent they are subject to a $15 per night overnight pass and must register as a regular guest. If just visiting for the day then a $10 day pass is required to be obtained at the office. Friends must be registered and sign a waiver.

2023 CAMPING SEASON: MAY 1 THROUGH OCTOBER 28

All persons entering the property must register and occupy their site by 8 pm on the first night of their reservation or the site will be subject to re-rental reservation/fees will be forfeited. Check-In Time: 3:00 PM / Check-Out Time: Noon. Check-In Time Cabins: 3:00 PM/Check-Out Time Cabins: 11:00 AM. Early Check-in or Late Check-out can be purchased @ $5 per hour as needed and is subject to availability. Guests are required to confirm availability. Guests needing to stay past 3:00pm the day of check-out will be subject to an additional nightly rate. Guests wishing to extend a reservation are required to contact the park office at least 2 hours prior to check-out as availability for the guest site is not guaranteed. Minimum Check-in Age: 21 Years Old. Guests 17 years of age and under at the time of check-in are considered children. Day Passes are available at the Main Office for visitors staying in excess of 30 minutes.

Speed Limit

Campground Speed Limit: 5 MPH. Please drive Slowly and Watch for Children

Quiet Hours

Quiet hours are from 10 pm to 8 am Sunday-Thursday, 11 pm to 8 am Friday-Saturday

Children Policy

Children under the age of 17 should be accompanied by an adult after 10 p.m. Children and pets should not be left unattended on the property

Vehicles

Combustion Engine Motorized Vehicles: Dirt Bikes, mini bikes, and ATVs are not allowed inside the campground. Battery Operated Vehicles: Hoverboards, skateboards, scooters, or similar motorized vehicles are subject to the 5 MPH speed limit. Golf Carts: Only electric golf carts are allowed in the campground with the purchase of a permit from Park Management. Golf carts should be properly insured, and all drivers must be licensed/a minimum of 16 years of age. The number of passengers must not exceed the number of seats on the cart. The speed limit for electric golf carts is 5 MPH. Safety First: Bike helmets are strongly recommended and required by State Law for anyone under 14 years of age who rides a bicycle, or rides a battery-operated vehicle. The safety of all guests is a LVCR priority. Have fun, but think about safety first.

Parking

Parking: Please park all vehicles in your designated parking spot only

Fires and Firewood

Firewood: State law prohibits out-of-state firewood. Only local firewood may be brought into the park. Dry firewood is available for purchase in the park.

Pet Policy

Pets: We are a pet-friendly campground (maximum two pets please). A current vaccination certificate is required at check-in. Pets must be kept on a leash at all times. Owners must clean up after their pets

Trash

Trash: Please bag and dispose of trash in the receptacles provided. Gray/Black Water Disposal: New York State Law strictly prohibits the dumping of gray or black water on the ground.

General Policies

Please do not drive through empty campsites as a shortcut and remind children no walking through occupied campsites. No washing or major repair work on RVs or vehicles is allowed in the park Please do not burn plastic, Styrofoam, rubber products, or trash of any kind in firepits or elsewhere in the park. No firearms of any kind are allowed on the property Fires are to be confined to firepits only. Flames should not exceed three feet and fires should not be left unattended. No chainsaws allowed Please do not cut any trees, limbs, or brush, peel bark from trees, or carve on trees or picnic tables. Failure to comply will result in a $50 fine and eviction from the park. Restrooms and showers are open 24 hours except during cleaning. Children under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult. The septic system accepts toilet tissue only. Place all other items in the receptacles provided. Bathing of people/pets in utility sinks is not allowed. Washing of clothes is allowed in coin-operated machines only. For Sale Signs-Check with Campground Management prior to placing any such signage. Temporary clotheslines may be used along the back of the campsite and remain a minimum of six feet off the ground. Call the Main Office if a fire ring needs to be emptied. Do not place ashes elsewhere on the site or in the woods.

RESERVATION AND CANCELATION POLICIES

Reservations may be made online at www.letchworthvalleycamping.com or by calling our Main Office at 585-404-5591. We do not give credit or refunds due to weather. Our cancellation policy varies depending on the timing of your cancellation notice in advance of the reservation date. Payment in full is due at the time of reservation. Cash refund-less a campground $20 fee, platform and processing fees will be issued if the reservation is canceled 14 days in advance. Full reservation forfeited if canceled less than 14 days prior to arrival. For late arrival arrangements, please contact our Reservation Department at 585-404-5591. AFTER HOURS EMERGENCY CONTACT - DIAL 911 in the event of an emergency. For campground personnel dial 585-404-5591

Our stay with you was good. It’s a beautiful campground. I would like to see something done with the roads, to much mud. Maybe some bigger sites too. Would come back in the future.

Hi Julie, We agree it is a beautiful campground and since we had so much rain this season, it really brought about some muddy situations that we are aware of and are already planning on the remedy to that situation. Beautiful and clean campgrounds. Very quiet and serene. The manager, Amy was very friendly and helpful as well. I would stay here again if I return to the area. It's just a few miles from the Letchworth State Park.

Wonderful weekend, exploring and relaxing. Shopped at the Amish markets nearby. Staff helpful and friendly. Looking forward to a summer stay here with grandkids to kayak and swim in the beautiful lake.

The lake at the campground was gorgeous! Perfect walking path around the lake and the eagles were incredible to watch. Very relaxing and everyone was friendly. We will definitely be going back.

This was the perfect spot to enjoy some Autumn camping. What a picturesque area. Beautiful walks with the pups. Fishing was fruitful with a variety of catches. Perch, large mouth a sunny and even a bullhead. They have just started and I can’t wait to see what the place will become as they expand. Super friendly staff. Very accommodating.

We had 3 families that just stayed at this park this past weekend. We had a great time here. Owners were very nice. We left our trailer keys on the picnic table after we left and Amy offered to mail them to us. We would definitely camp here again.

The kids and I loved the place. Nice water slide for the kids to jump into. Plus, bunch of possible activities to do. My kids played basketball for a while. I would come back again :)
