Conveniently located off highway 40 is The Lavaland RV Park. Visitors love this park because of its close proximity to a number of iconic New Mexico attractions such as the El Malpais and El Morro Nation Monuments, the Mining Museum and the Wild Spirit Wolf Sanctuary. The Ice Cave, Bluewater Lake State Park, and Bandera Volcano are also relatively closeby, which earns this park its reputation for fun, adventure and breathtaking sights.

Campers can take advantage of amenities such as: tent camping, big rig access, pull thrus, water, WIFI, sewerage and 30/50 amp sites. This is certainly a great spot if you're looking to enjoy the beauty and attractions of New Mexico, so visit soon!

Just in case anyone wants to stay here - Passport America is listing Lavaland RV Park as one of its members. Not any more - they claim they have notified PA to omit them from the book, but it's in mine, which is only about 6 months old. The sites are full hookup with internet that's a bit slow. I used the shower, but won't use the other facilities - unless they become cleaner! Laundry room has 1 working washer and dryer, looks like a double load for $2 each. Sites are pretty much mostly pull thru, but quite close together. There are numerous trees that provide shade. - Review provided by RV Park Recommendations & Reviews Facebook Group
