Steer clear of this RV Park!! First, Luz and Carlos, the supposed Hosts, are no where to be found. You are asked to go to their house if you need assistance but they never answer their door even though their car is in the driveway. They don't answer their phones either. There is no one to assist you when you first arrive at the park. We stayed for a week and watched as fellow RV'ers arrived and looked around confused as to what to do. On our second day we started losing power. It took an email that I sent to the owner of the park to get the Hosts off of their butts to help us. What came next was appalling to me. Having spent my working life in the Electronics/Electrical Trade, I watch as Carlos tried to repair the electrical problem. Every single wire on the park's 50 amp plug was loose and fell out of the socket as he disassembled it with the power still on. I heard from other RV'ers at the park that they were having power problems as well. As I observed Carlos repair the problem I saw that he didn't know what he was doing. The reason why I asked that you steer clear of this park is that in my opinion the electrical problems are a disaster waiting to happen. There will either be an electrical fire or an electrocution. And what is even scarier is that Carlos claims that there is no way to turn off the power in the park in the event of an emergency. If you do have an emergency you can't get any help anyway. The hosts, as I observed, hide in their house all day and only come out in the evening for a short period of time, less than an hour. My suggestion to the owner of the park is to fire Luz and Carlos and sell the RV park. The park needs an owner that cares about its guests and needs major electrical upgrades to ensure the safety of said guests.

From Facebook review on Feb 26, 2020 by George K. “The best thing about Sequoia RV Park is the couple who manage it. Luz and Carlos are just a pleasure to be around - they are super helpful and always ready to chat or give advice or recommendations. Add to this the full range of services, easily accessible and level sites, an onsite laundry and showers, free WiFi and FREE firewood, then you have a good picture of what awaits you. We only spent one night, but they will definitely see us again. So, if you're looking for the closest RV/tent sites to King's Canyon and Sequoia National Park and a great deal on wonderful accommodation, look no further than Sequoia RV Park”
