Katherine's Landing

Overview

Katherine's Landing is located at the Lake Mohave Marina, and is a popular oasis of water sports and fun within the beautiful Arizona Desert. Visitors can take advantage of the excellent swimming, water skiing, boating and canoeing at the water's edge, or just enjoy one of those beautiful sunrise or sunset Arizona is known for. Campers can also look forward to the old mining town of Oatville or visit the a day trip to Death Valley National Park. There's tons to do in the city itself, including the Colorado River Museum, Colorado River Historical Society and Bullhead City Community Park. The stretch of the Colorado River that runs through the town is another great escape for the nature enthusiast. Like Lake Mohave, guests to this park can look forward to fishing for crappie, striped bass, rainbow trout and catfish at the Colorado River, and take advantage of whitewater rafting, kayaking, canoeing and even scuba diving along Ringbolt Rapids. Since Bullhead City enjoys a desert climate, visitors can bask in warm temperatures and cool nights with clear skies for stargazing.
