Rising from the foothills and nestled in the Bears Paw Mountains, Hill County Beaver Creek Park is located south of Havre MT. The Park covers over 10,000 acres and frames 17 miles of Secondary Highway 234: Beaver Creek Highway. Established in 1916, it is the largest county park in the United States. Beaver Creek Park is open year-round to all individuals for recreation and conservation purposes. Camping, fishing, picnicking, wildlife viewing, sightseeing, hiking, and many other outdoor recreational activities are encouraged. A current park permit is required for all park use. Beaver Creek Park only has rustic and primitive camping: no individual hook-ups, no water, no sewer, no power, no internet, no cable, no provided amenities.
