A very nice place. It's quiet (no road noise; away from the town), and barely a T-Mobile signal, but AT&T was much better. I will return if I'm in the area! Mike and Bobbie were great!

Campground Response

Thanks for the taking the time to give us a review. It is much appreciated. Hope to see you back this way again some time. Safe travels!

Don't know what "Charles" is talking about. The park was wonderful. We stayed here for several months. The grounds are mowed at least weekly ever since grass started growing again. There are no briars near sites. The owners are great! They were very nice and visited with us when they came by the park. The sites are all rock and fairly level. It is far enough away from Abilene and highway to feel peaceful but close enough to go shopping and hit multiple restaurants. We loved it and will 10/10 recommend to all our friends.

Campground Response

Thanks Jason! We so appreciate you staying at our park:-)

The worst camp grounds ever, and I have been alone of places. There is no washateria the grounds keeper doesn't take care of the property. The water pressure is terrible. And although weather is not controllable. The wind is terrible.

Campground Response

Your rating is surprising as I (Bobbie/owner) called you the morning you were leaving and thanked you for the heads up that you would be leaving and asked if all was ok. You told me yes. We are very clear about this being a 'no frills' park with no amenities. We are surprised at your water pressure issue. You never mentioned anything to us and we recommend that people use a regulator because our pressure is high. We agree that the wind blows. It is west Texas.

This a no frills park. Clean, easy to get to, away from the city and highway. Would we stay again, absolutely. The owners are great to work with.

Campground Response

Thanks for the great review! Of course you are welcome to visit anytime. Safe and happy travels!

Great place! Calm, quiet, affordable. It’s a little off the beaten path but well worth it. Can’t say enough about Bobbie and her hospitality. Will be back.

As stated above, it’s a work in progress. What’s there is nicely done. Add a restroom w/shower and I’d give it the fifth star. Owners at as nice as can be and the coyotes sang us to sleep.

Campground Response

Much thanks for the really nice review. Our plan is to add a laundry room and rest room. Hopefully in the late spring. Safe and fun travels and Merry Christmas!

Nice location. Although it is in a residential area, it is surrounded by fields and open land on three sides. It is elevated so you feel above everything else. But, the campground is basic. There are full hookups and not much else at this point. No additional amenities. There wasn't even a host at the time we were there. Spaces are large and mostly level. Our jacks weren't working but we didn't really have an issue. This place has lots of potential. Add bathrooms, showers maybe a dog run and it will be really, nice. As it is, it's OK, but probably a little expensive for what you get.

Campground Response

Thank you for the thorough review. As you stated we are quite new so still developing the amenities. We hope to add a laundry and perhaps a dog run this next spring/summer. Also considering your comment on the expense and we will be reducing our rates for December and the remainder of the winter months. All the Best in your future travels. Mike and Bobbie Pritchard

This park is in the process of developement. There are no shade trees. Amenities are limited. We found the owners extremely helpful.

Campground Response

Thank you for finding us helpful. We go out of our way to make sure everyone's stay is good. Yes we are new and learning. We try to be clear in our description and when we talk to guests who stay. Because of the heat and no shade we are now offering a Super Summer Special of only $30/night, $170/week and $300/month + electric. This is what you are actually charged. There are no hidden fees. Safe and fun travels.
