Buffalo Hills RV Park is located in Sterling, Colorado. Recently under new management, they are working hard to upgrade the park and amenities to bring you the best camping experience. They offer large pull-through lots with 20,30, and 50 amp service. Onsite amenities include restroom and shower facilities, playground, pool and the newly added laundry facility! They are located just minutes away from Parts and Labor Brewing Company and the popular Overland Trail Museum! Only 30 minutes from North Sterling State Park, where you can enjoy hiking trails, kayaking, fishing, and more!

We have been to this campground 3 times, this third time being our current. Past times, sites were strewn with branches, making it hard to pull through without damaging your rig. It is an old campground, but a diamond in the rough. It is nice to see them making much needed improvements. Updating their electric to 50 amp, trimmed alot of the tree branches, and have leveled several sites. The pool is no longer available, (not the fault of management) laundry has 4 washers, 4 dryers. Bathhouse was clean. Can't do anything about the stickers, it is the desert. Jim the manager was very nice, told us if we needed anything, let him know. Also talked to the owner, very nice gentleman. It's going to take awhile, but want to see the improvements in person, so we will be back!

Jim was very kind and super helpful. I was going to stay for a month but my plans changed abruptly associated with my work. Jim and his daughter refunded my fees and they were quite pleasant about it.

We were traveling from WI to CO(Denver area) traveling in an RV and needed a place to stay for just one night- state park was full. Though the owner and worker were very nice, the place was pretty run down.Lots of goat heads, moths and junk (rusty screws, metal pieces etc)..in the gravel. Would NOT recommend this place, will never be back!

Pool doesn't exist anymore. We went there for the pool and was told that it hasn't been open for 2 years. Office is only open by calling the number on the door. Had full hook-ups, showers, and restrooms but was disappointed about bugs in the facilities my kids refused to take showers. Needs some updating

No one in office on arrival. Sites are very close together only inches between slides. Only 30AMP sites probably because the mass amount of permanent RV's have the 50AMP sites. Park is not well maintained, garbage dumpster is open and smells. Won't be back here.
